Creamy Date and Oat Smoothie
This easy yoghurt and oat smoothie is the perfect blend of protein, fiber, and natural energy. Naturally sweetened with Medjool dates and spiked with a hint of warm cinnamon, it’s a quick-fix breakfast that tastes like a treat but keeps you full for hours.
Ingredients:
- Plain Yoghurt: ¾ cup
- Medjool Dates: 4 (pitted)
- Quick Oats: 2 tbsp
- Cinnamon Powder: ¼ tsp
- Nut Butter: 1 tbsp (your choice of almond, peanut, or cashew)
- Water: ¼ cup (adjust for your preferred consistency)
Instructions:
- Ensure the Medjool dates are pitted. If they feel a bit firm, you can soak them in the ¼ cup of water for 5 minutes before blending to ensure a silkier texture.
- Add the yoghurt, oats, cinnamon, nut butter, and dates (along with the water) into a high-speed blender.
- Process on high until the oats and dates are completely smooth and the mixture is creamy.
- Pour into a chilled glass and enjoy immediately.
